Hey everyone… really excited to bring you the first taste of the score for Looper!!!
Click above for a little peek into how we created the “Time Machine” cue.
Holy shit!
This is unlike anything I’ve ever heard before. It completely sets the tone for the film, completely atmospheric and utterly gripping and gritty. Nathan’s process is really impressive. Everyone should give this a listen! I can’t wait for Looper!
Wow. Okay, yeah — you should all check this out. (With headphones on (!))
interesting process.

i’m in love with this cover of Brian Eno’s “By This River”. really good sad, semi-ambient work music.

finally a new playlist. this one took a long time to publish, sorry about that. it had been completed for a while but i couldnt get any ideas for that damn cover art and then i spent too much time in the hospital compiling other lists. i hate that how that happens, youre trying to finish one project but already in your mind youve got four other projects lined up and your mind is ready to work on those and not the one youre currently working one. sheesh!
anyway, this one is perfect for filling up the bathtub with bubbles and just being there. give yourself a time out from time to time in the bath and just chill. its been my new thing this year to take more baths and just relax and it definitely works in getting rid of stress. my purple hair though leaves traces of blue pigment in the water so by the time im done relaxing i have bath full of blue water and soooo that led to this playlist. haha enjoy:

i’m a bit removed from my native tongue, but Up Dharma Down sparked my interest back to original Filipino music. i just discovered them about a week ago, have been listening to them non-stop for the past consecutive days, and i’ve become a loyal fan. the tonality of her voice and the jazzy-indie-rhythimic sounds are so unique to the OPM i was familiar with growing up, it leaves me wanting more.
it’s just so refreshing to know music like this exists back home.

I must be going through some kind of phase where I pretend to be some modern college girl in the 90’s and listen to bands like The Sundays and The Cranberries and the Cocteau Twins… but I’m totally okay with that.

Blue October “Into The Ocean”
I want to swim away but don’t know how
Sometimes it feels just like I’m falling in the ocean
Let the waves up take me down
Let the hurricane set in motion, yeah
Let the rain of what I feel right now, come down
Let the rain come down…
