    i’ve been thinking about how so many of us are constantly searching for validation not by our own standards but from others. it’s so easy to get caught in the whirlwind of likes and thumbs-ups when people throw them around almost meaninglessly and without a second thought. although there are people out there who are as passionate as you that would gladly give you good insight on your own work, you have to remember that you are your toughest (and most important) critic.
    create things you like. do it because it resonates with you.
    it doesn’t matter if no one sees or appreciates your process. sometimes fearlessness and creativity go hand in hand when you listen to your own critical voice and not the praise and approval of others.
